Arizona's annual salute to spirits & cocktail culture, the Arizona Cocktail Weekend returns this February 16 - 18, 2019 with an all-new collection of events, tastings concerts and more unspooling across Downtown Phoenix. Plus, new for the 2019 event, AZ Cocktail Weekend is proud to announce an expanded partnership with Local First Arizona and the 2019 Devour Culinary Classic, including incorporating the popular Devour Bartending Competition on Sunday, February 17 into the 2019 Arizona Cocktail Weekend. Most important, while the rest of the nation is still shivering through the dregs of winter, the 8th annual AZCW will be shaking up and serving 72-hours of fun in the Arizona sun. And speaking of Arizona's amazing winter weather, the AZCW has been specifically designed to create a walk-able, pedestrian-friendly event lineup featuring Downtown Phoenix's best hotels, bars, restaurants and event spaces to showcase the area's red-hot cocktail scene.

The 2019 Arizona Cocktail Weekend kicks off on Saturday, February 16 with
The Cocktail Jam, a music-meets-mixology party hosted at The Van Buren thatpairs trending spirit brands, amazingly crafted cocktails with live music to create a one of kind experience in the Valley. Then on Sunday, February 17, it's the return of Top Bars showcasing pop-up versions of renowned lounges from around the state, country and across the globe, all in one location. Hosted at historic warehouse turned hip event venue, The Croft, 2018 Top Bars participants included iconic imports: Aria (Las Vegas), B&GC (Denver), Bar X (SLC), Bazaaar by José Andrés (LA), Copper Common (SLC), False Idol (SD), Five to One (DC), Front & Cooper (Santa Cruz), Herbs & Rye (LV), Level 5 (Albuquerque), Leyenda (NYC), The Millhouse (Maui), Nickel City (Austin), Tommy's (SF), Stepping Stone Café (Cartagena, Columbia), Under Current Bar (SLC), Union Lodge No. 1 (Denver), Water Witch (SLC), accompanied by AZ favorites such as Bitter & Twisted, Blue Hound Kitchen & Bar, The Breadfruit & Rum Bar, The Brickyard, Clever Koi, The Gladly, Hotel Congress, Market Street Kitchen, OBON, Scott & Co., Tough Luck Club and UnderTow. Finally on President's Day (Monday, February 18), the Last Slinger Standing bartending competition will host top mixologists from across the Southwest inside 7th & Union at Young's Market Company.
