Arizona Foodie was cooked up: March 2014

The recipe of Arizona Foodie.

Founder and main eater, Diana Brandt, had always had a passion for food. When her friends began to complain about all her food pictures filling up their social feed, she decided to create a Instagram account devoted just to pictures of food. Thus AZFoodie was whipped up. At a food event not too long after, it was suggested that a blog be put into action. Everything else was baked up shortly after from Facebook to Twitter and everything in between. That my friends, was the start of breaking bread around town.

Arizona Foodie was ready for eating!

After the creation of the blog and Facebook, Arizona Foodie began to take off with a huge bang. Local people really loved following our food outings and began to like us at a fast rate and it still hasn't slowed down after these few years. Diana started Arizona Foodie as a way to showcase the growing food scene around the Valley. Her goal was to show the passion these Chefs had for their food and to share it with others.

Arizona Foodie has since grown into a large hub of like-minded foodies with over 97% of our followers located in Phoenix and the surrounding cities.  We have over 38,000 followers on FB, over 90,000 followers on Instagram, 20,000 page views a month, 2400+ followers on Twitter and over 7,500 people on our email list.

Arizona Foodie continues to be a place where people can find some of the best places new and old spots to eat at. Diana hDiana has been awarded as the most acclaimed Industry Instagrammer, has received a Zagat award, nominated for Food Writer of the Year, voted best food blog, best food instagrammer and more each year.
