Seventh annual Rockin’ Taco Street Fest

Save the date for Rockin’ Taco Street Fest on Saturday, September 15, 2018, featuring lucha wrestling, low riders, live music, margaritas, beer, eating competitions and an abundance of creative tacos from 20 local restaurants and food purveyors. The Rockin’ Taco Street Fest is a family friendly cultural celebration, returning for its seventh year to Downtown Chandler.

This year’s entertainment lineup is unparalleled, with a headlining performance by Metalachi, the world’s first and only, heavy metal mariachi band. Plus, Evil Waze, a Santana Tribute Band will return with their throwback sound. Other highlights include a custom lowrider car show with In the Streets Magazine showcasing over 60 trucks, cars, and bikes followed by Lucha Libre Voz wrestling matches throughout the day.

Be sure to bring your appetite for the taco, burrito and elote eating competitions from 12-4 p.m., each winner will receive $100 cash. Then, check out the tequila tavern to sample tequilas from across the southwest. For the kiddos, have fun in our kids zone with bouncers, a piñata party and games.
