Travel: Marriott Puerto Vallarta

Want to wake up to this view everyday? Then head on down to the Marriott in Puerto Vallarta.

This resort has everything you need, including six restaurants. I went to the Ceviche and Tequila bar everyday, they have Las Casitas right there on the beach. Nosh is one of their newer spots and it's got the best seat in the house to catch the iconic sunsets. They also have live music and plenty of fresh seafood. Mikado is their Japanese Teppanyaki spot and it was super fun and delicious.

Their spa is 22,000 sq ft and I'm still thinking about the therapeutic massage that I got. In addition to 12 treatment rooms, the Iyari Grand Luxury Suite is a 280 square foot private room designed for those who want a piece of the Ohtli Spa to themselves. Couples, bridal parties or even celebrities seeking a paparazzi-free escape love this space. For the full experience, arrive a little early to warm up (or cool off) in the Roman tub, cold plunge pool and foot bath, and take full advantage of the sauna and steam rooms.

Not only does the resort have their own tequila , CasaMagna tequila, they have an education program taught by their in house Tequilier, Audrey Formisano. You can sign up for a tequila tasting and even add food pairings to the experience.

The infinity pool at the Marriott in PV is incredible. It's complete with a swim up bar, 180-degree views of Banderas Bay and its iconic mountains and also a coconut stand where you can get a fresh coconut cracked open or make it an adult beverage.

FYI: From Nov - April you’ll probably see humpback whales and from June to Nov the beach becomes a sea turtle nesting area.

This property is super close to the airport and a short walk to the marina bay, where you’ll find cute shops and more restaurants.
