Ten Layer Carrot Cake from Ocean Prime (pictured above)

Carrot cake is a pretty ordinary dessert but Ocean Prime makes it extraordinary with 10 layers of goodness. Sweet cream cheese is quite literally the icing on the cake and pineapple syrup sends it over the towering top! It's a behemoth slice of sweet decadence. YUM. Ocean Prime is located in High Street. 5455 E. High Street, Phoenix.

Salted Caramel Apple Bread Pudding from House of Tricks

Peach Cobbler Nachos from Bonfire Craft Kitchen and Tap House

The awesome folks at Bonfire have figured out a way to make nachos even turning them into dessert. Crispy cinnamon sugar tortilla chips topped with candied peaches served with vanilla ice cream. WOW! They also have build-your-own s'mores so this place is definitely worth a visit. 15332 West Bell Road, Surprise.

Show Stopper Shakes from Zuzu

These outrageous shakes live up to their name and are truly show stoppers! Every month Zuzu offers a new flavor and no matter what it is, you better believe it'll be epic. They start with an ice cream based shake and don't stop there. They go crazy with the toppings by adding everything from cookies, candies or pastries to whole slices of cake, pie, sprinkles and crumbles. It's basically a dessert that comes with more desserts. These shakes are so fun, tasty and perfect for the 'gram! They are also an indulgence you can feel good about because every month Zuzu donates $1 from every shake sold to a designated local non-profit organization. Zuzu is located inside Hotel Valley Ho at 6850 E. Main Street, Scottsdale.

Anything from Scookie Bar

Is there anything better than a freshly baked cookie topped with a giant scoop of ice cream, then loaded with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles, cookie crumbles, and more?! Nah, we didn't think so either. The lovely ladies at Scookie Bar have taken the decadence to the streets and are making sweet dreams come true. You can't go wrong with anything you order because it's all amazing! Follow @thescookiebar on instagram for information.

Taiyaki from Dessert in Desert

These fish shaped cones come filled with your choice of soft serve and they are so darn adorable. Soft serve choices include milk, taro, chocolate, mango, matcha, and black sesame seed. Dessert in Desert has other fun treats too and we guarantee you'll want to try them all. 18511 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale.

La Bomba from Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar

No dessert list is complete without La Bomba. This indulgence is quite literally the bomb! An explosive treat for all your senses. Be prepared, when you order La Bomba all eyes will be on your table as the server comes out with a big chocolate bowl filled with gelatos, sorbets, berries, mousse, candied nuts and more! On the count of three you'll shout La Bomba and the server smashes the bowl right onto the table where it breaks apart to reveal the goodness within (don't worry the table is covered in a clean plastic mat). Then the whole thing is drizzled with a few different syrups and sauces and you're ready to dig in. It's a beautiful mess and a delicious one at that. La Bomba is a special occasion dessert (or any day that ends in Y) that will leave you in awe. Toro is located at 17020 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale.
