Restaurant Opening: The Italian Daughter

The Maggiore Group is launching its newest concept, The Italian Daughter Cucina + Cocktails this April, spearheaded by esteemed restaurateur, Melissa Maggiore. The newest restaurant and piano bar concept will replace Tomaso’s Italian Kitchen in Scottsdale and remain as a dedication to the legacy of her father, the late Tomaso Maggiore.

“The Italian Daughter is a restaurant concept that I believe my father would have been really excited to see,” founder Melissa Maggiore said. “I want people to experience the joys of our authentic Italian cuisine in an atmosphere full of music and energy. We are bringing Italian flare to Scottsdale along with the fun of live music and great food.”

The Italian Daughter will feature live piano music by local musicians nightly-- expect familiar songs by Billy Joel and Frank Sinatra, the classics, and top hits throughout the decades for dine-in entertainment. The new age meets classic Italian decor in the restaurant’s quaint and cozy atmosphere.

In continuation of The Maggiore Group’s dedication to bringing Italy’s world-renowned cuisine to Arizona, The Italian Daughter will spotlight some of the best dishes of the family’s home country. The restaurant’s menu is made from-scratch and will offer more variety in The Maggiore Group’s already-expansive selection of Italian entrees elevated Italian cuisine featuring handcrafted pastas, craft charcuterie boards, Neapolitan pizzas, and desserts from the group’s other Italian concepts-- Tomaso’s, The Sicilian Butcher and The Sicilian Baker. The cocktail menu will feature Italian-inspired craft cocktails, gelato martinis as well as a curated selection of wines and beers. Takeout options will be available including to-go family meal packs, a-la-carte menu items and delivery.

In anticipation of opening, The Maggiore Group will host a hiring event on Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant group is looking to hire 100 individuals to fill positions such as kitchen managers, line cooks, servers, bartenders, hosts and more. The hiring event will take place at the restaurant which is located at 23655 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 120. Anyone interested in employment at The Italian Daughter can reach out at jobs@theitaliandaughter.com.

The restaurant will be open for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Lunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information about The Italian Daughter, visit theitaliandaughter.com or email info@theitaliandaughter.com with any questions.
