Restaurant Opening: Tash
With an expected opening of February 6, 2021, the new Tash at the Talking Stick Resort is one of Scottsdale's most anticipated new restaurants.
Tash, pronounced [TH-O-SH], translates to sun, day or time in the O’odham language (spoken by members of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community). The name evokes a bright freshness and that is what diners can expect. The restaurant will offer an adventurous dining experience with an eclectic, Mediterranean-inspired menu. Tash has thoughtfully blended multicultural influences to create a regional passport of vibrant flavors.
The menu features tapas, pizzas and specialties from land and sea; plus, a nice selection of decadent desserts. Stand-outs include, a Mezze plate loaded with hummus, roasted eggplant spread, whipped goat cheese, and Skordalia (potato and garlic dip) served with toasted pita; and the whole roasted Fired Up Cauliflower served with lemon oil, muhammara and tzatziki sauce. Seafood highlights are the Paella Mixta, Piri Piri Shrimp and Grilled Swordfish and you wont want to miss the the Pork Osso Buco Pappardelle or the Cinque Pizza topped with house-made Merguez sausage, potato, leeks, jalapeno, caciocavollo and thyme vinaigrette.
Diners will be delighted with the artisan-prepared cocktails, each made from both classic and innovative recipes using fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables to highlight the character of each spirit. They also have a Free Spirit (non-alcoholic) menu developed with the same care as the spirited cocktails. Wine connoisseurs will appreciate the extensive wine list with an impressive collection of red, white and sparkling wines.
The ambiance of Tash is warm and inviting with comfortable seating. The floor to ceiling windows provide sweeping views of Camelback Mountain and the stunning dessert landscape. Every detail from the food to the décor were thoughtfully brought together to ensure an unforgettable dining experience.
