A Las Vegas favorite is coming to Arizona with a big first day planned. Cereal Killerz Kitchen AZ is celebrating its grand opening here on March 20, and starting at noon, the first 100 people there will get a free bowl of cereal. It’s the brainchild of owners Jessica and Chris Burns who have even appeared on “Shark Tank” discussing their business ideas. They recently closed their original location and opened up a new one in Las Vegas with plans to open two more locations there plus this new Arizona location.
The sky's the limit for your cereal creation at the restaurant that was southern Nevada’s first and only cereal bar. There are more than 100 different kinds of cereal from around the world plus both dairy and non-dairy milk options and tons of toppings like candies and nuts. Think a mashup of Fruity Pebbles and Trix with some fruit or Reese’s Puffs with a Reese’s cup and a chocolate swirl. Pretty much anything your heart desires can be made! Build your own unique cereal bowl from small to large and a mix-in of three to five toppings. You can even substitute chocolate or strawberry milk or add a Pop-Tart.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Not just cereal is served at Cereal Killerz Kitchen — far from it. There’s vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream in two or three scoops with mix-ins, plus let’s talk about the signature milkshakes. The Ferrero Rocher is inspired by your favorite chocolate and hazelnut nugget and comes with it on top. It’s drizzled with chocolate and caramel syrup, pecans and whipped cream. Or how about The Ish is Bananas? It comes with bananas, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream plus banana cereal and chocolate drilled peanuts. Don’t forget the cherry on top. You can also make your own milkshake if you so desire in regular or large with three or four mix-ins.
Let’s talk about other drinks now like S’more Fire Tingz, an iced coffee drink that takes s’mores to a whole new level. Or the No Leaf Cloverz Iced Matcha Tea made with shortbread, matcha, hints of vanilla and whipped cream plus a hearty sprinkling of your favorite marshmallow minis. Have you ever had a waffle topped with ice cream? How about with cereal? There’s that too at Cereal Killerz like the Cinnamon Toast Waffle topped with Churros cereal, cinnamon, sugar and whipped cream (with the option to add a scoop of ice cream which you totally should!). And last but not least, the LeTaco James, inspired by the one and only LeBron James and his love for Fruity Pebbles. It’s a thin and crispy waffle made with in-house batter that’s shaped into a taco and coated with white chocolate and Fruity Pebbles then filled with a drilled ice cream of your choice and more Fruity Pebbles. You have to see it in person to believe it! Oh, and they also do doughnut sandwiches filled with ice cream. Yum! We’ll see if this becomes a thing at the Arizona location, but in Vegas there’s actually a crazy challenge where you have to finish a huge bowl of more than 130 cereals in 45 minutes. If you do, you’ll get your money back plus a free shirt, $25 gift card and a picture on the wall.
