Moonbowls: New Tempe Eatery Serves Up Healthy Korean Bites

Moonbowls is putting their own fresh and modern spin on Korean food. This fast-casual, to-go eatery is committed to using only the highest quality ingredients, with no preservatives or additives. The team is dedicated to making pretty much everything on their menu entirely from scratch, resulting in superior tastes and flavors. They believe great tasting food should be affordable and make you feel great too.

What's more, Moonbowls is entirely gluten-free and they also offer plenty of unique, plant-based options, making it easy to cater to pretty much any lifestyle or diet.

The signature dish at Moonbowls is the Avocado Bulgogi, a gluten-free and vegan delight made with Impossible “beef", sliced avocado, shredded kale, kimchi, seasoned seaweed, sweet peppers, green onions, sesame seeds, and light ginger garlic soy sauce. It's served with a lemon wedge and a choice of brown rice or cauliflower rice.

Another tasty option is the Korean Hot Chicken Bowl. This is a medley of spicy goodness made with hot and sweet oven-fried chicken, chunks of roasted pineapple, caramelized onions, pickled red onions, citrus-marinated kale, green onions, sesame seeds, and a side of gochujang sauce, served over a choice of cauliflower rice or brown rice.

The menu also boasts a selection of appetizers such as Sweet Potato Potstickers, crispy Korean BBQ Cauliflower Wings and Roasted Broccoli with Ginger Garlic Sauce. They also have a variety of House-made Chia Puddings for a healthy, protein packed treat.

Moonbowls offers pick-up and delivery only and orders must be placed online or in-person (sorry, phone-in orders are not taken). Hours may vary but they are typically open daily from 12-10pm.
