Get your buzz on national coffee day

Coffee. Just the word is music to our ears and gives us a warm feeling in our stomachs and our hearts. Hot, cold, cold brew, lattes, espresso, in smoothie form — we love it all. We know many of you feel the same way, so we've gathered up some of the best deals for National Coffee Day on September 29 and also some of our favorite coffee shops around town.

Several national coffee chains with locations in the Valley are celebrating the day with great deals. Barnes and Noble is offering a free cup of tall, freshly-brewed hot or iced coffee with the purchase of any item from their bake case at their cafés. Dunkin’ is rewarding customers with a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase. Krispy Kreme will give all guests a free coffee with no purchase required, and if you are a rewards member, you can get a free doughnut to go along with the coffee. At The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, get a free 16-ounce brewed coffee hot or ice when you purchase any food or bakery item for $2 or more. There's also 25 percent off the items on their website through September 30.

As far as some great local spots for a caffeine fix, check out Provision Coffee. It's a fun place to set up your laptop and grab a cup of joe, get a bite to eat or catch up with a friend. There's also a spacious and comfortable patio, perfect for social distancing. One standout is the Honey Lavender Latte made with espresso, raw local honey, vanilla, lavender and milk. Another customer favorite is the Southwest Sunrise, a mixture of nitro cold brew with simple syrup, mole bitters and an orange twist.
