Fun Patio Spots For Fall

It's about the time of year when temperatures start to get a bit cooler (here's hoping at least!), and it's the perfect time to get a bite to eat or enjoy some cocktails outside. In fact, many restaurants are utilizing their patios right now to help with social distancing. Here are a few amazing patio spots you should check out as soon as possible.

All of the O.H.S.O. locations have great patios and are open to your doggie friends. The locations in Paradise Valley and Gilbert have yard games, and there's plenty of open seating, umbrellas, misters and heat lamps. Hit up O.H.S.O. for happy hour during the week from 3 to 6 p.m. for food specials and a $7 glass of wine, signature cocktail or a pitcher of beer. The Buffalo Chicken Fries are delicious along with the Pretzel and green chile cheese sauce, BBQ Chicken Burger and The Gobbler turkey burger sandwich. O.H.S.O. has locations in Arcadia, Gilbert Paradise Valley and Scottsdale.

Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co's downtown Phoenix location has an open beer garden with outdoor covered patio seating and yard games. There's a dog friendly area plus misters and a fire pit to suit whatever Arizona's current weather might be. There's also a bar outside, so you don't have to go all the way inside to snag a drink. Stop by to hear some live music, grab a pair and chow down on the infamous Duck Fat Fries and a PB&J Burger. There are Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co locations in Gilbert and Phoenix.

Chelsea's Kitchen's is an adobe brick building repurposed into a charming roadhouse restaurant. Their pride and joy is the outdoor patio which has plenty of shade during the day and a fireplace and string lights at night. Grab a seat for brunch before the Chilaquiles run out or come by for dinner for favorites like the Short Rib Tacos and Tuna Tartare and Guacamole. Chelsea's Kitchen is located at 5040 N. 40th Street, Phoenix; 602.957.2555;

Windsor is a neighborhood bar and restaurant known for its backyard-style patio. It's spacious and shaded, and the cocktails are fun, flavorful and plentiful. Try the No. 22, a refreshing mixture of house raspberry and blueberry vodka with fresh blackberry and lemonade. On the food menu, don't miss the Loaded Chips topped with caramelized onion, bacon, blue cheese and chipotle crèma (so craveable), the Porkwich and the Crab Cake BLT. Windsor is located at 5223 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix; 602.279.1111;

Rita's Cantina & Bar at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn & Resort is the place to be, especially at sunset. There's a ton of outdoor space for dining and hanging out, and there are plenty of gorgeous views of nearby Mummy Mountain and other desert flora and fauna. Enjoy the nightly live music, the Tableside Guacamole and a margarita. The restaurant was named after the drink after all. Rita's Cantina & Bar is located at 5402 E Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale; 480.948.1700;

Ocotillo Restaurant is just as known for its outdoor spaces as it is for its food. There is a chef's garden, mesquite terrace, beer garden and a lawn. Decoration is focused on the desert landscape with a hip and modern feel. Brunch is always a must. Get a pitcher of sangria or mimosas along with a Warm Brioche Cinnamon Roll and a Breakfast Chimichanga. For dinner, get the Charred Sweet Potato and Wood Fired Beef Ribs. Ocotillo Restaurant is located at 3243 N 3rd Street, Phoenix; 602.687.9080;
