8 Places For Mother's Day Takeout



If you want to plan a special day for mom but don’t feel like cooking or going out to a restaurant, we’ve got you covered. Several restaurants around down are offering takeout specials that will still impress mom but not give you a lot to do in the kitchen! Here’s a list of a few places to check out for your to-go needs.


Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse has a super cool Mother’s Day package to go. Select either the premium package for $240 or the regular package for $140. Both serve six people and come fully cooked. The regular meal includes a choice of two fire-roasted meats like bacon wrapped chicken and picanha steak plus sides and desserts. Think apple manchego salad, mashed potatoes and vanilla butter cake with strawberry cream and sprinkles. You can also enhance your order by adding wine, jumbo shrimp or mozzarella caprese for an additional cost. Pre-order by May 8 to pick up on May 9. Chart House is also offering substantial Mother’s Day packs to go with two options perfect for families. Pick up is from 9 a.m. to noon, and each pack serves three to four people. The prime rib pack is $115 and comes with fresh field greens, three potato garlic mashed, creamed spinach and molten chocolate cake. The roasted citrus herb salmon pack comes with the field greens, roasted vegetable couscous, Parmesan asparagus and molten cake. Add-ons include small charcuterie, shrimp cocktail, coconut crunchy shrimp and a whole house-made cheesecake. Make sure to pre-order by May 3. Curbside pickup is also available. Nomada Provisions is preparing a special Mother Box with no actual cooking involved. It comes with assorted domestic and imported cheeses; charcuterie; greens with goat cheese, berries, walnuts, pickled red onion and lemon poppy dressing; beef roast with roasted pepper demi glaze, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables; and Middle Eastern semolina cake with orange blossom and orange confit syrup, pistachios and almonds. They’ll have everything packed up in disposable containers, ready to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. ZuZu Restaurant at Hotel Valley Ho always hits it out of the park when it comes to holiday meals to go. For mom, choose prime rib or spiral-cut ham complete with wine and plenty of sides. The herb and garlic butter rubbed prime rib is served with peppercorn jus and creamy horseradish while the bone-in ham has Kentucky bourbon maple glaze and apple butter. Sides include boursin whipped potatoes; green chile pork mac and cheese; spiced glazed carrots and grilled asparagus; tropical fruit salad; crab and tarragon mustard potato salad and Hawaiian sweet buns.
