Restaurant Opening: Halal Guys

The Halal Guys, New York City's famous food cart, which just opened their first West Valley location (fifth in Arizona) this month, celebrated the newest store with the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce and city officials at a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday. From The Halal Guys team, Operating franchisee & ASU alum, AJ Ahmad, and COO and Franchisee, Tahsin Kahairi, voiced to the group that they greatly value the Arizona market and will continue to seek out growth opportunities in the near future as they plan their sixth AZ location.

The Halal Guys started in Manhattan over three decades ago as a single food cart and has since garnered a cult-like following around the globe for their chicken and rice platters, gyro sandwiches, and famous white sauce. In the past five years alone, The Halal Guys have become one of the fastest-growing restaurant concepts in the country.
