Restaurant Re-Opening: Famous 48

Famous 48 (Famous48.com), previously in Old Town Scottsdale offering plentiful and delicious comfort food, is moving north on Scottsdale Road and assumes a larger footprint at The Shops Gainey Village, 8989 N Scottsdale Rd #608, Scottsdale, AZ 85253.

Arizona is famous for its sunny climate and leisurely lifestyle, luring many visitors from throughout the country to become permanent residents. With that, Famous 48 aims to please all those palates with a nod to Arizona as the beautiful 48th state.

The state-of-the-art audio/visual system and 36 TVs deliver the perfect atmosphere for watching Arizona sports, events and more. A huge open-air patio will feature two outdoor fireplaces and lounge seating along with games, more TVs, and an exceptional outdoor dining experience.

The Famous 48 menu features classic American and Arizona dishes, crafted with an artisanal approach. Dishes include BBQ baby back ribs, fish ‘n chips, fresh salads, sandwiches, tacos, nachos, southwest eggrolls and shared plates prepared with the highest quality and freshest ingredients available. Square One Concepts diners will also recognize fan favorite menu items from sister concepts Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers and Bourbon & Bones including their award-winning burgers and signature steaks, respectively. In addition to classic menu items, Famous 48 offers a creative cocktail program, craft beers and wines.

The new 4,500 square-foot interior is styled with leather horseshoe booths and banquettes, wood high tops with black leather bar stools for maximum comfort. The full-service indoor/outdoor bar features a beautiful walnut countertop and patterned tiles.

Lunch and dinner will be served seven days a week with Happy Hour Monday-Friday, 3-6pm. Famous 48 hours of operation are 11am-midnight Monday-Friday; 9am-midnight Saturday-Sunday. Brunch is offered Saturday & Sunday 9am-2pm through high season.
