There’s a new Italian spot putting down roots in Scottsdale, and this one has serious staying power.
Parma Italian Roots is set to debut at 20831 N Scottsdale Rd., Suite 117, Scottsdale, this fall and the new eatery promises artfully prepared, West Coast-influenced Italian cuisine and a comfortable, easygoing ambiance.
Leading the charge at Parma is Executive Chef Chris Gentile, a Southern California culinary phenom who caught the eye of restaurateurs who are rolling out concepts across the nation. Known to place a heavy emphasis on high-quality seafood, flavorful herbs and fresh vegetables, he’s injecting his signature, Coastal California style into another of his passions, fine Italian cuisine, and the results are elegant, inventive and, at times, downright indulgent.
“I can’t wait to call Scottsdale home,” Gentile says. “The city has already been amazingly welcoming, and I’ve loved getting to know the local food and beverage scene and everyone who makes it so special.”
