Crudo Tiki Takeover

Writer's picture: Diana BrandtDiana Brandt

Grab your grass skirt and dust off your Hawaiian shirt because Crudo is hosting a Tiki Thursday Takeover featuring guest mixologist Travis Nass (a longtime local mixologist and member of the AZ Culinary Hall of Fame). Swing by from 5 - 9 pm to savor modern versions of classic Tiki cocktails, such as the bitter-sweet Navy Grog (first created in the 1940s by the father of Tiki, Don The Beachcomber) or the dangerously delicious Fog Cutter (invented by the iconic, "Trader Vic" Bergeron).

Hosted inside Bar Crudo and outside on the tree-lined patio, pair your tropical tipple with Crudo chef/owner Cullen Campbell's menu of exotic bar bites, including albacore poke and his take on the classic Hawaiian comfort food, the Loco Moco, a burger patty served on a bed of rice, smothered with succulent brown gravy and topped with an over-easy egg (full menu below).
