Staycation: Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort

Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort is waiting for you to slide on into their pool for some great summer staycation fun! It was only a couple weeks ago that I was floating around their lazy river, eating bbq and playing in one of their pools in a large toucan floaty. This was my first time staying at the resort and the location is perfect. Not only was it close to home but for someone that may want to leave property, this is there are tons of restaurant options nearby.

From my experience, I think this is the perfect place to stay for families. They have multiple pools around the property, a waterslide, lazy river, hot tub and a tad pool (for the little guys and gals). They also have pools in each section of the hotel, these pools are a bit smaller but have comfier seating.

We stayed in a one room suite, which is a parent's dream, as the room can be separated by closing the door, so that kids can sleep and mommy and daddy can still hang out, watch tv or do whatever they want that doesn't include going to sleep at 8 pm. If you need a little more time without the kids, I highly recommend putting the children in the kids club during the day. They get to do all kinds of fun activities from arts and crafts, cooking and playing games to swimming.

For food, the bbq spot was a perfect place to enjoy after all the fun in the sun. We feasted on bbq ribs and mac n cheese, the kids were happy and full by the time we left. We opted to order room service for breakfast because we wanted the flexibility of heading down to the pool quickly after eating.

My only suggestion is that the pool can get a little busy and if you want to grab a seat or two, you better get there early!

Would I stay here again? If I was bringing along the family, I certainly would! And if you are looking to do to a staycation with the fam, check out these summer deals going on.
