“UNWIND, REVIVE & IGNITE” WITH SPECIALTY WEEKEND AT FOUR SEASONS RESORT SCOTTSDALE AT TROON NOR


“Unwind, Revive & Ignite” this August with a celebratory weekend at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, Aug. 11 – 13, 2017. Kick off Friday evening with Buti Yoga to energize the body and soul, join in specialty seminars throughout the day on Saturday, and cap the evening with a #GirlBoss pairing dinner with Talavera Chef Samantha Sanz and Executive Chef Rochelle Daniel from Fat Ox restaurant. “It is such an inspiring time to be a female chef in the Valley,” says Talavera Chef Samantha Sanz. “There are so many women taking leadership roles in the kitchen. Rochelle and I have partnered together in the past, and I look forward to presenting a collaborative menu combining our respective talents and passions.” The weekend kicks off on Friday, Aug. 11, with Buti Yoga taught by instructor Stephanie del Corral from 5 – 6 p.m., inclusive of a specialty cocktail in Onyx Bar & Lounge following the class. Buti Yoga was created by Celebrity Trainer Bizzie Gold, and utilizes the “Spiral Structure Technique” to sculpt and tone the deep abdominal muscles that stabilize and strengthen the body. The cost per attendee is $20; advance reservations are required and space is limited. Local guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats. All guests should check in at Onyx Bar & Lounge upon arrival. On Saturday, Aug. 12, join in “Masterpieces and Mimosas,” led by local studio, The Art of Merlot. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and includes instructions on how to paint iconic Pinnacle Peak, as well as accompanying mimosas for participants. Each participant will paint their own canvas, under the guidance of a professional instructor. The cost per attendee is $48; advance reservations are required and space is limited. Guests also can enjoy a sparkling twist on the property’s “Wine & Unwind” series on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with a flow yoga class in the Movement Studio, inclusive of a mimosa following the class. The cost is $20 and it is open to guests of the property as well as local guests. Advance reservations are required and space is limited. Local guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats. All guests should check in at The Spa upon arrival. Following the class, join the property’s onsite alchemist in the Spa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an “Aroma Blending Bar” experience. Learn about the unique power of scent and have the opportunity to create custom blended aromatherapy products. Pricing varies per product selection. Saturday afternoon brings two specialty seminars, offered together for a cost of $30 per participant. At 12 p.m., learn the ins and outs of cocktail creation with a “Modern Mixology” class. At 1 p.m., join in as sisters Giovanna and Regina Garcia lead a “Balanced Health” seminar. The Garcia sisters are founders of “Live a Lot” chocolate. Giovanna also is a nutritionist and certified natural chef. Guests of the Resort can further indulge with a complimentary “Women-Led Wineries” tasting at 3 p.m. The class also is complimentary to those who attend the afternoon seminars. That evening, Talavera features the #GirlBoss pairing dinner with Talavera Chef Samantha Sanz and Fat Ox Executive Chef Rochelle Daniel. The special tasting menu offers five courses for $85, with wine pairings available for an additional $40. A portion of proceeds from the dinner will benefit will benefit the Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus Pine Council.. Cap the weekend with morning power walk, followed by the Proof brunch buffet on Sunday, Aug. 13. Proof’s brunch menu will include specialty featured items from the Garcia sisters, incorporating health and wellness to start the day. Those booking the dinner or seminars as part of the “Unwind, Revive & Ignite” weekend are invited to relax and enjoy the property with special rates beginning at $209 per night.
