Floridino's

All too often Arizonans discuss their favorite restaurants from “back home” or what they are looking for in an eatery and can’t find in the Phoenix Valley. Floridino’s took the requests to heart and in 1996 opened their doors with the promise to embrace family-oriented, full-service, true Italian restaurant food in Chandler.

House of egg roll

Chinese expats have been crowding the tiny Chandler joint, which offers the cuisine of China’s Shaanxi province, a northwestern region of the country that blends fire, spice and vinegar to explosive effect. You'll find hearty lamb dumplings in a delicate sour broth share the menu with ribbon-like, hand-cut Shaanxi noodles; thick slices of milky white pork belly touched with a spicy garlic sauce; and whole barbecued fish covered with a face-melting blend of spices. Pita-like bread appears as crunchy fried nuggets mixed in with slivers of tender pork, or soaked into lamb broth to create a hearty stew-like soup that couldn’t be more perfectly suited to cold weather.
