Helmed by Chef Kelly Fletcher, a former fine dining chef, CHZBURGR is turning out what are arguably the best hamburgers in town. Thin patties expertly seasoned, melty cheese, grilled onions, buttery buns with crisped edges and fresh produce. Every single burger is constructed with pride and love and you can taste that with each bite.
Let's talk about every burger's best friend – fries. CHZBURGR's are always served piping hot and perfectly crispy with just the right amount of salt. Perfect for dipping but yummy enough to ignore the condiments all together. But I wouldn't because Chef Fletcher is also a sauce ninja and offers a variety for your dipping pleasure. All sauces are made in house and I find myself scraping the sides of the cup with my fingers to get every savory drop. My favorites are the Ghost Pepper Aioli (beware it's super spicy) and the Honey Mustard, but the Roasted Jalapeno Mustard is a winner too, and you can never go wrong with a homemade herby ranch.
Those sauces show Fletcher's creativity in the kitchen, experimenting with flavors for uniquely delicious combinations. That expertise also shows in his daily specials like the recent chicken sandwich masterpiece that featured a spicy crispy chicken thigh, grilled mozzarella, jalapenos, hot honey and seared pepperoni slices (if that didn't make you salivate, there is something wrong with you); or the burger with shaved pastrami, Swiss cheese, arugula, caramelized onion and a tangy horseradish sauce. CHZBURGR recently re-opened for dine-in after a couple months of curbside service only. They are taking extra precautions to ensure guest safety and still make everyone feel welcomed. The space is narrow but long, clean and brightly lit with cheerful orange walls.
Chef Fletcher has taken immeasurable pride in his restaurant as is evident in every detail from the booths to the buns. Once you've found this place you'll feel like you've struck the indulgent food lottery! It's that good.
