Where to eat during the Waste Management Open

I know that there's plenty of food at the Open and there's plenty of restaurants right there at the Fairmont Princess. However, if by chance you're looking for a spot to hang out before or after the Waste Management Open for a few drinks or a bite to eat. Here's a few of my favorite spots in the area, that would perfect to hang out at.

The Thumb is an unsuspecting spot for some good bbq. Located inside a gas station, a little North of the Waste Management Open.

Obon Sushi is where I crave eating street noodles! Located at Scottsdale Quarter, you can enjoy an array of sushi and other Japanese favorites.

Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers is your typical hot spot for hanging out and watching all the TV screens while eating some juicy burgers and crispy french fries.

Donut Bar is newly opened and your one stop spot for all things donuts! Hit them up for a giant donut poptart, a grilled cheese donut or just a regular donut.

Poke Bar is one of my go to spot in the area when that poke craving hits.

Press Coffee - in need of some coffee before you head over? This is one of my top spots to hit for coffee and it's located in Scottsdale Quarter.

True Food - Want to cleanse your body and eat something healthy? This is the spot for you. You'll find an array of great tasting healthy foods and drinks to get you through the day. This is located at the Scottsdale Quarter.

Tocaya is brand new and buzzing with energy. I loved how hip this space is and how delicious the food and drinks are. This is a healthy, fast casual concept that serves modern Mexican food. Restaurant is located at Kierland Mall and you can grab and go or hang out.

Postino's is right across the way from Tocaya at the Kierland Mall. I suggest this is a spot you hang out at and enjoy some bites and wine.

The Greene House is also located at Kierland Mall and one of Sam Fox's first children. I love this spot for it's consistently great food and enjoyable atmosphere. Perfect place to hang out and enjoy a nice meal and a couple drinks.

The Mission is the kind restaurant and lounge to hang out and wind down while eating some modern Latin cuisine. This spot is also located at the Kierland Mall.

O.H.S.O. Brewery and Distillery - might as well grab a couple more drinks and hang out after the Open at this restaurant, local nano-brewery, distillery, and dog-friendly social hot-spot.

Four Peaks Brewing Co. - or you could head over to this Arizona brewery and restaurant. They have helped define craft beer in the Southwest since its founding in 1996. You can also order some great bites to go along with that craft beer.

Pastries N Chaat is a fast causal restaurant that serves all the delicacies from India.
