Chef Showdown

Were you watching Chef Showdown? Do you even know what Chef Showdown is all about? I'm here to open your mind and your belly to what this is all about.

Chef Showdown features eight Topgolf chefs, yes, I said Topgolf, you know that place that is so much fun to hang out at and hit some balls, eat some grub and throw a few back. Well, these eight Chefs go head to head competing to have their original dish featured on the upcoming spring menu where guests can taste it for themselves.

The show’s judges feature one of my favorite celebrity chefs, fellow local Arizonian and he has the delicious restaurant, Mora, over on 7th Street in the Uptown Phoenix area. He's restaurateur and author Scott Conant and the most amazing and also very talented Topgolf National Director of Culinary Operations Seve Delgado.

Although this season is now over, you can still watch full seasons of Chef Showdown online at: https://topgolf.com/us/tv/chef-showdown/ or on Topgolf’s Youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/topgolfusa

What you'll find out (Spoiler ALERT) is that after some intense competition, Chef Cat Colaizzi takes home the gold medal with her mouthwatering dish pictured above. The Spring Meatball Platter ($11). It’s a chicken and lamb blended meatball with arugula, shredded carrots, pickled onions, honey balsamic vinaigrette and a tzatziki sauce.

Let me tell you about this dish, it's perfect for sharing but you probably won't want to because those meatballs are divine! I don't know about you guys but I can't wait to head back over there for my birthday party celebration with some friends, those meatballs and some injectable donuts!

There is a Topgolf in Gilbert and this one in Scottsdale:

9500 Talking Stick Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85256
