Thanks to Disneyland for hosting us and making my little girl dreams come true. There's so much to eat and experience at Disneyland, that it was hard to do much of it in one day. Especially since we hit Disneyland and California Adventure. I was trying to figure out the best things to eat and there are plenty of sites to give you some ideas.
These are just a few of the items that I really enjoyed and you should go check out too!
You can find this sweet and savory delight at Cafe Orleans by the Pirates of the Carribean ride. It's big enough to share with 4 huge pieces of battered bread stuffed with Sliced Turkey, Ham, and Swiss fried in a light batter and served with Berry Purée dusted with Powdered Sugar. Who needs Mickey beignets, when you can eat one of these!
When I heard, you have to try the Dole whip, I thought, why, it's not that special. Well, boy was I wrong. I ordered the Dole whip float and it was quite refreshing and the perfect treat before heading into the Tiki Room. The line is long but well worth the wait.
This is something I can get down with! Macaroni and cheese with bacon stuffed in a cone. The cone is only necessary for looks but no need to eat it. The macaroni and cheese though, is surprisingly addictive. Not interested in mac n cheese, that's ok, they have plenty of things in cones for your eating and Instagramming pleasure. Cozy cones is located by the Cars rides in Disney California Adventure.
You could probably find these little goodies in any of the sweet shops around Disneyland but I grabbed this one at the Candy Palace while we watched the Soundsational Parade. Side note, that parade was awesome! This dreamy little treat was filled with chocolate cake and marshmallow ears.
There's so much to eat and see, it's impossible to do it all in one day and I know there's so much more to try. A couple of the places were closed for maintenance but for the most part, my stomach was just really full. Till next time Disneyland, I can't wait!
